NIGHTLY STOCK REPORT.

My sales during the past fortnight have been fairly well attended by purchasers, and thej|[demand for store cattle is improving, though prices remain on a par with those of last month. Sheep meet a good market, all that offer finding buyers at full rates. The competition at the yards to-day was brisk, and the prices were fully maintained. Cattle.—At Kakanimea 77 head were sold : Bullocks, L 4 17s 6d ; yearlings, 24s ; fat cows, L 4 ss. At St. Hill-street a small lot of 40 head made up the sale : Fat cows, L4l6s and L 5 ; steers, L2 12s. - Sheep.:—At Kakanimea 281 sheep were sold : Ewes and lambs in low condition 11 s. At the yards to-day C 73 were penned. Fat wethers in wool 15s and IGs ; shorn, 9s Gd to 9s lid ; ewes and lambs, 13s 6d ; hoggets in wool, lOs Gd.; shorn hoggets, Bs. Houses.— At late values I sold about one half of those offered. Pigs are in demand : Stores, 11s 6d ; baconcrs, 40s. LONDON MARKETS. London, Nov. 12. Consols have advanced to 101£. New Zealand securities remain as follows !•—6 per cent. 10.40 loan, 105 J. 5 percent. 1889 loan, 103 ex div. H per cent. 1879-1904 loan, 100 J. 4 per cent. inscribed stocky 100 ex div* Adelaide wheat has advanced 6 I per qr, and is quoted at 40s. New Zealand wheat remains at 38s 6d to 44s 6d. Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, 325. Scotch pig iron has fallen 51 per ton, and is quoted to-day at 47s 61, fob in Clyde. Galvanised iron, 26 guage, packed in cases, fob in London, £lB 10s.
