WELLINGTON, This day. Weather forecast for 24 hours, from 9 a. in. to day ;
Wind—between north-west and southwest at ail places north of Castlepoint and New Plymouth, between northeast and north-west at all places from thence southward to Lyttelton and Hokitika during next 12 hours, then changing to south-west at all other places. Barometer—further rise at all places north of Kaikonra and Westport, and rising after 12 hours at all other places. Sea—henry on both Coasts. Warnings for gales as above indicated have been sent to all stations south of Napier and New Plymouth, and hold good at nil other places.
