WAVERLEY TOWN BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the above Board was held on Monday, November 5. Present Messrs Napier, Muir, McFarlane and Mason (chairman). Minutes of previous meeting read and confirmed. Resolved—That the collector be instructed to advertise that all rates unpaid after the 19th inst. will bo sued for. Messrs Muir and Napier were appointed a committee to examine the books of the late Pouudkeeper, and report at next meeting. It was resolved, That the Chairman and Mr Muir arrange with Bank re overdraft, and report to adjourned meeting on Monday, also that the attention of the Council receiving the fees for auctioneers’ licenses to Clause 20 of the Town Districts Amendment Act, 1883, and request them to pnj' over moneys in accordance with same. The meeting then adjourned to Monday the 12th inst., at 8 p.m.
