Two disastrous explosions, for which no explanation can be given, occurred last evening on the underground Metropolitan railway. Thirty persons were seriously injured and the buildings above the tunnel were shattered; by the force of the explosions. PARIS, Oct 30. In the Chamber of Deputies to-day, M. Challcmel Lacour was questioned by the leaders of the. Radical paity regarding the intention of 5 the Government’ in connection with the expedition to - Ton quin. In reply* M. Lacour stated that the French Government had resolved .to push on operations in Tonqnin firmly and rapidly. A debate on the subject ensued, but was ultimately adjourned. v
