WAVERLEY SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

The ordinary monthly meeting of above was held on Wednesday last, 24th October, Presen' Messrs Mason, Thurston, Davis, Me Donald, Bridge and Dickie. Resolved—That the Chairman enquire if there is a reserve for planting in the belt paddock. The following accounts were passed for payment G Taylor. LI 8s ; Edwards, 15s; H F Mason, L2 lsßd. The following resolutions were adopted “That the Chairman procure 4 stools”; “ That the Good Templars be allowed to hang the charter in the school ro -ra “ That the Chairman write to the Board asking that increased school accommodation shall be afforded as soon as possible “ That November 9 be a holiday “ That the Chairman apply to Mr McLean for half the cost,of repairing the boundary fence “ That the Chairman get a single barbed wire put along the top of the fence on the south side of the school ground.” The meeting then ad-, jonrned.
