The course was very heavy ; it was raining hard, nnd ali the horses we,e held in for the first part of the race, and only let out coming np the straight. HURDLES. Chevalier ... ... ... 1 Hi no 2 Bugler ... ... ... 3 . Reliance ran, bnt fell. Time—drain. 50 3-fifths secs. Won by three lengths, the same distance between the second and third. Hinn pulled up very lame.
