Shaw £6OOO damages for treatment receivcd at the hands of the French authorities in Madagascar, and will express regret for the occurrence to Lord Granville, the British Foreign Minister.
CAPETOWN, Oct 15.
News has been received from Zulaland that Usibepu with n large body of adherents made an attack upon a tribe friendly to Cetewayo, and inflicted great slaughter upon them, fully one half being massacred.
