Warning ß for gales as above indicated have been cent to all stations. Synopsis of last 24 hours: —•Thrpnghont the country the barometer has continued to rise slowly, and strong Westerly gales have been prevalent at places north of Gisborne anl New Ply-: month, but at other places there have been gales from the southward*
