West Coast Settlement Reserves Office, Hawera, September 4, 1883. WRITTEN TENDERS (in sealed covers) are invited for the leases of 100 sections, comprising 13,700 acres of thd above-mentioned lands. The upset rents range fyora Is to 7s per acre. The, lenders, accompanied by the statutory declaration and deposit of six months’ rent at the rate tendered, in accordance with the Regulations, must be lodged with the Reserves Trustee, at the Courthouse, Hawera, not later than 4 o’clock p tn., on Thursday, the 4th day of October, to be opened by the Reserves Trustee, at Hawera, on Friday, the sth day of October, at 11 o’clock a.m., when the highest tenderer for each lease (if the tenders shall equal or exceed the upset fixed annual rental per acre) will bo declared the lessee. Plans and schedules of the sections and copies of the regulations under which leases will bo sold and issued, also forms of tender and declaration respectively, can be obtained at the District Land Offices, New Plymouth, Patea, and Hawera, or at any of the other Land Offices in the colony ; also at the-Office of the Collector of Customs Wanganui, and at the Post Offices, Thames, Wanganui, Reefton, Westport, Grey mouth, Ashburton, and Oamaru, on and after the 31st July instant.
