IN A BANK- ■ — — ♦— —■ —— [REUTER —COPYRIGHT.] MELBOURNE, Oct 1. An alarming tragedy occurred-at the Bank of Victoria this afternoon. Harry -Thomas, a customer of a branch bank at Hcalhcote, where he carries on business as an auctioneer, entered the city office ' and mounted the table in the centre of chamber, shouting “Revenge.” Then he drew a revolver, and attempted to commit sucide, firing first at the ceiling, and then at his head, indicting a serious /wound, which, however, is not expected to prove fatal. -
