The Daily News, in its issue of to-day, published a telegram from its Natal correspondent stating that King Cetewayo has expressed his willingness to surrender to British authorities as requested. The cargo of frozen moat on board 'he ship Matanra, from Auckland, was examined to-day, when -a considerable portion was found to be rotten. PARIS, Sept. 25. The Franco-Chinese negotiations for ihe settlement of the difficulty, in Annam are still proceeding, no agreement having as yet been arrived at. The Chinese Ambassador now proposes that France shonld annex that part of the Empire of Annam to the southward of the Red River (the Songkoi), leaving the remainder to China. The French Government, urge as a counter claim their right to the whole delta of Songkoi, cither northward or southward of the river. , MADRID, Sept. 26, A number: of armed Guerillas are scouring the northern provinces of Spain, and several detachments of gendarmes have been despatched in pursuit, CONSTANTINOPLE, Sept. 26. A serious conflagration occurred today at Kadikbs, one half of the town being totally destroyed before the flames could be extinguished.

(REUTER. —-COPYRIGHT.) ALBANY, Sept; 27. Arrived, at King George’s Sound, last evening—P. and 0. steamship Mirzapore, with mails dated London, August 24. ADELAIDE, Sept 27. A verdict for plaintiff, with damages £2 has been returned in the action brought by Joseph Thompson, the well known bookmaker, against the Adelaide Racing Club, for wrongful expulsion from the enclosure in May last. TLlfcj Court held that the Club’s lease of course was not a valid one. MELBOURNE, Sept 27. Before his exeention on Tuesday last, Burns, the murderer of Michael Quinlivan, confessed that he had committed eight different murders, five in Victoria, and three in New South Wales.
