ALARMING EXPLOSION.

Bookets in tlio Air; (REUTER. —COPYRIGHT.) LONDON, Sept, 24. A serious explosion occurred to-day at the rocket factory in Woolwich. Hundreds of rockets were discharged in all directions, many flying into the streets and causing great havoc to houses and other property. Two persons died from the mimics received by the explosion. Sept. 25. The explosion at the rocket factory, Woolwich, continued without intermission for upwards of an hour. Some rockets travelled for miles, but in a rm-joriiy of eases little or no damage was done by them. It is believed that the explosion of the factory was accidental.
