Mr Gillies, Minister for Railways; announced in the Assembly last night that it is intended to use Woods’ break onfall lines , north of Yarra, i' and the Westihghonse break on the southern lines. The Argus to-day commenting mi the announcement strongly condemns the decision of the Railway Department.
