WRITTEN Sealed TENDERS in duplicate, will be received by Lient.-Colonel Reader, Commissioner of Armed Constabulary at Wellington np to MONDAY, the Ist day of OCTOBER, 1883, for the Supply of Rations to the Colonial Forces and others, between the Patea and Mokau Rivets, for the twelve months ending 31st day of October, 1884. Specifications can be seen at the Police Stations, Patea and Hawera( and at the Constabulary Offices, Opunake and New Plymouth. Each tender to be accompanied by a cheque for (£25) twenty-five pounds sterling, made payable to the ReceiverGeneral only, and not to bearer, and marked by a banker as good for twenty-one days, as a guarantee that the tender will be taken np. The successful tenderer will require to find two approved sureties of (£250) two hundred and fifty pounds sterling each, for the due performance of the contract; tenderers to specify the names and addresses of their sureties on their tenders.
