(per press association.) WELLINGTON, This day. Weather forecast for 2i honrs from 9 a.m. to-day:— Wind—between southeast and northeast in both Islands. Barometer—further rise at all places north of Napier and New Plymouth. Very little movement elsewhere, but falling after 20 hours. Sea—moderate on both Coasts. Telegrams for very cold and frosty night have been sent to all stations.
