■———— (per press association.) WELLINGTON, This day. Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day:— Wind—between north-east and southeast in both islands. Barometer—falling at all places north of East Cape and Now Plymouth ; within 12 hours further rise at all places, but falling at all places southward from East Cape and Now Plymouth to Kaikoura and Lyttelton after that time. Sea—Heavy on eastern coast north of Napier. Warnings for easterly gales and heavy rain have been sent to all places north of East Cape and New Plymouth, and for easterly gales to all east coast stations between Kaikoura and East Capo,
