VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.

The ordinary weekly parade did not take place last night on account of the inclemency of the weather. The usual weekly parade for non - commissioned officers and recruits will bo held oh Thursday night. A daylight Inspection Parade is to be held next Tuesday, the 28th inst, at 10 a.m. This is the day set aside for the opening of the railway to Manutahi, and most probably the Patoa Rifle. Volunteers will be asked to form a guard of honour, so (hat we hope to see them turn out in full strength together with the Band, The shooting for (ho medals will be postponed for a week on account of the Trophies having to be shot for on the date fixed for the medals. ■
