Australian (allow continues dull at 39s 6d for best beef and 40s 6d for best mutton, MELBOURNE, August 15. The local manager of the National Mortgage Agency Company of New Zealand reports of the Melbourne grain market as follows : Shipping wheat improving and quoted at 4s lid to ss. A better demand exists for malting barley at 5s 31 to 6s. There js fair demand for New Zealand .oats at 2s lOd to 3s Id for feed and 3s 2d to 3s 31 for milling sorts. Ne.w Zealand oats under bond quoted at 2a Id to 2s 4d.
