FATAL ACCIDENT AT WESTPORT.

(per press association.) WESTPORT, August 16. A fatal accident occurred on the Westport Coal Company’s incline last night. A boy named Wouldish was sent down from Donniston at 4 p.m. with a message, and not returning, search was made, and the boy was found by his father at midnight under the trestle work of part of the incline known as McDonald’s hill. One log was nearly severed from the body, and it is supposed that he bled to death. The boy went up from the bottom of the incline at dark in the last truck run, which stopped at the top. At the lowest trestle it is supposed he got oat and attempted to walk the remaining distance, but was caught by the truck and run over.
