IN Accordance with a requisition, signed by 34 business people and ratepayers, asking that a Public Holiday be proclaimed on the day appointed for opening the Railway from Waverley to Manutahi, I hereby declare Thursdiy, 23rd instant, to be a Public Holiday within the Borough of Patea.
