The third class fired for Captain Taplin’s Cup yesterday morning. Throe competitors turned dp and made the following scores, seven shots at each range : 300 400 Tl. Corpl. Bartlett 27 ... 23 ... 50 „ McKnight 26 ... 22 ... 48 Vol. Imrio 21 ... 15 ... 36 This morning the second class fired with the following results : 1 400 500 Tl. Vol. Hyams 25 ... 27 ... 52 Owing to there being no sergeant in charge of the third class, there is some doubt if the scores will be accepted. Sorgt. Kearney took charge of No. 2 squad.
