It is currently reported here that Mottley, one of the witnesses in the trial of Timothy Kelly, who was hanged for the murder of Lord F. Cavendish and Mr Burke, has been murdered at Philadelphia. LONDON, August 2. It has been decided that the trial of O’Donnell for the murder of James Carey at Port Elizabeth shall take place in England, and the prisoner will accordingly be sent back to this country under arrest. In the House of Commons last night the Agricultural Tenants Compensation Bill was under consideration, and was finally passed by a substantial majority.
