' There have teen very few enquiries for stock of any, description,this month, and principally through the bad weather very few have been brought forward. The outbreak >of .scab in the 4 district lias had a tendency to lower tho market, but with spring weather coming on we anticipate; a rise. . Cattle. —At Manaia, on the 12lh, 140 head came forward, and were mostly sold; 18-month- i oM;Btfcja f .- rf £&'l3s ; old heifers, £2 5s ; weaners, 25s to 30s ; 3-year-old heifers, £3. At Ha worn, 90 ■ head were yarded and sold. 2£ to 3-year- ‘ old. steers, £4 Is 6d ; fat .cows, £4 6a ; yearlings, £1 7s 6d ; milch cows, £4 to £7 2s 6d. , , ' Sheep.—Very few have passed through our hands during the .month. We quote shorn lambs, ss_6d ; ewes in lamb, 10s ; fat wethers, 11 s. , .. Horses!—No sale for any class.
