Bounceable Maoris. (per press association) AUCKLAND, This day. On Friday, the 26th inst., twenty Natives proceeded to the camp of the survey party who had crossed the Pakonka river at Aotea. The Maoris swore that if the men did not convey their tents and other things back again to the other side of tbe stream they wonld bnrn them, there being only two or three of the survey party at this advanced part of the road. Mr Burd being away at the ■ time they returned with their effects. Mr Bard,-who was in Raglan, came onl to the campon Monday and ordered the men to return to the place where they were sent from by the natives. A Native policeman from Raglan and A.C.s came out to Aotea. The king is not at present at Kawhia, having left on Wednesday, the 18th, for Whatiwhatihoe.
