PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.j WELLINGTON, This day. Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day :—Wind between southeast and north-east in both Islands. Barometer—further rise at all stations, but falling at all stations north of East Cape and New Plymouth after 16 hours and later from thence southward to Lyttelton and Hokitika. Sea—Moderate on both coasts. Warnings for easterly gales and rain have been sent to all places north of East Cape and New Plymouth, Synopsis of last 24 hours : Through-' out the country the barometer has continued using, and there has been a heavy southerly gale, and rain on the East Coast south of Napier.
