EDUCATION BOARD.
The Board met yesterday. Items of business concerning this district are as follows : Wayerlby. —Application for school enlargement. Held over till allocation of next building grant. The Secretary reported that the school was over officered by one pupil teacher, Miss Macdonald; resolved, That she continues till next month. Hawera. —Application!.for improvements and enlargements. Held over till allocation of next building grant; with the exception of a shed for saddles, for which a sum of £3O was granted. Woodville. —Application for new building,—Not granted, as attendance at present, does not warrant it.
