A QUERY.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir.,-— -I was amused to see the report in your last issue of the business before the R.M, on Tuesday. After such offences coming before the court, I should like to know if it will be safe in future for ladies to wheel their perambulators, or carry an open umbrella on the footpaths ? I think either would cause as great an obstruction, as a man with a bag of straw on his back. Alas poor helpless infants. Your carriages to be thrown aside. Hard labour for mothers. Verily a bad future in store for both.—-Yours, &c., Parent.
