In the House of Commons to-day, Sir Henry James, the Attorney-General, announced that the Government had decided to abandon for the present session. the Bill amending the Acts relating to criminal procedure,.. inter alia, for the establishment of a Court of Criminal Appeal. ■ ‘ At the wool sale to-day, 8500 bales were offered, and the market continued but inactive.
