Mails are despatched from Patea as follow ; DAILY MAILS OUTWARD. For Waverley, Waitotara, Maxwell town Kai Iwi, Wanganui, and South, twice daily; "box closes at 1-30 p.m. and 7 p.m. For Kakaramca, Manutahi, Hawera, Normanby, Stratford. Inglewood, New Plymouth ' and North, at 11-15 a.m. , , Direct mails to Nelson and Wellington by every steamer. Letters must be marked per steamer.” Francis Long. Postmaster.

A supplementary mail via New Plymouth is made up two days after above dates of closing, in Patea.
