Steamers or sailing vessels shall pay for each trip, (inwards and outwards iflclusive) sixpence per ton on her registered tonnage, for port charges (including berthage at the wharf while receiving, or discharging cargo) to be paid to the wharfinger before the vessel shall be removed. , , . ... Schedule No- 4Storage Charges on Goods. Storage on all goods not taken delivery of within the time allowed for free forage shall be charged at a single wharfage'rate for every week, or part of a, week, such goods are warehoused. Except only as herein provided in case of transhipment, goods for transhipment and not removed from the Wharf, shall be entitled to seven days’ storage free, and such goods shall only pay a single wharfage rate. The above By-Laws were confirmed at a special Meeting of the Patea Harbour Board, held on Monday, 21st May, 1883; and they will come into force on Monday, 2nd July, 1883.
