(per press association.) ? AUCKLAND, This day. The body of Alfred Firth, son of the Sheffield philanthropist, drowned at Ratoura, has been placed in a lead coffin to be forwarded to England. His effects have been sent to tbe. ; Pnblic Trustee at Wellington, r ‘ Henrlckson’s jeweller’s store, in Victoria street, was broken into during the night and n> complete sweep made of the stock of watches, jewellery, &c,, to the value of £ISOO.
