ROAD BOARD BOUNDARIES.

The Gazette of May 18 contains the boundaries and subdivisions of road districts, under the ,! Road Boards Act, 1882.” We publish those in Patea County as they may be useful for future reference : .PATEA. WEST ROAD,;iDISTRICT. All that area in the Provincial District of Taranaki, bounded towards the northeast ,by the - confiscation boundary-line r; thence towards the east by the Patea River ; thence towards the south-west by the ocean ; and therice ; towards the' north-, west by Hawera County to the confiscation boundary line aforesaid, the- place of commencement: excepting from the abovetdescribed area . the ; Borough • of Patea. ~ PATEA EAST ROAD DISTRICT. .. >, All that area in the Provincial District of Taranaki, bounded towards the northeast by the confiscation boundary-Jine ; thence towards the south-east by the boundary-line' between - the- Provincial Districts of Wellington? and nTaranaki; and thence towards the west by the -Patea West Road District, hereinbeforeidescribed, to the confiscation lboundary„-line aforesaid, the place of commencement. WAIROA ROAD DISTRICT. All that area in the Provincial District of Wellington, bounded towards the northeast by the confiscation boundary-line ; thence l towards the south-east by the Waitotara river and Wanganui, county to the ocean ; : thence towards the south-west by the ocean; and thence towards the north-west by the Patea Bast Bokd District, described, to the confiscation boundary-line aforesaid, the place of commencement .- excepting from the above-described area the Town District of Waverley. SUBDIVISION NO. 1. Bounded towards the north by the Great South Boad ; thence towards the east by Wanganui County ; thence towards the south by the ocean ; thence towards thewest by (he Wairoa Stream and the Oturi Bead ; and thence towards the north-west and south-west, by the Town District of Waverley to the Great South Boad aforesaid, the place of commencement. SUBDIVISION NO. 2.
