Tenders will be invited immediately upon the completion of the working jplans, and the foundation-stone will be laid by the Right Worshipful the Mayor of Melbourne, at which time a limited liability company, will be formed to carrj* out the undertaking. As the present Model Lodging-house in West Melbourne is paying 10 per cent, dividend, with a handsome reserve fund, and the £lO shares are now selling at £l7 10s (says the Argus), there ought to be no difficulty in disposing of ; all tha shares when they are offered to the public, as the new company will combine philanthropy with good investment.
