Joe Thompson, the well-known bookmaker, who was expelled, from the enclosure, on ; Saturday; has issued a writ against-the Adelaide Racing .Club for £SOOO damages.*:! • ' MELBOURNE-May 2-t. At the Volunteer Review, held here to-day, two thousand men were under arras. The weather was rainy. SYDNEY, May 24. The Sydney Turf-Club Meeting today was well attended, and the weather fine.
