Intelligence is to hand frbm.Cabul announcing that further fighting had occurred between the Ameer’s troops and the Afghan rebel tribes. Edward O’Brien, William Marony, and Daniel Delaney who pleaded guilty, have been sentenced to 10 years servitude. The special commission lor the trial of the Phoenix Park prisoners has now dosed. Her Majesty’s gunboats Goshawk and Raven have been ordered to proceed to Australia to replace : the sd.eimcrs now on that station.
