(pee press association.) WELLINGTON. This day. Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day :.-Wind—‘between south-east and north-east in both Islands, Barometer—farther fall at all stations north of Lyttelton arid Hokitika. Rise but falling 'again after 12 hours at all other places. Sea heavy oh Eastern Coast north of Lyttelton.: Warnings for easterly gales have been sent to all places north of Kaikoura, Nelson, and Westport. There has been a slow fall of the barometer everywhere with moderate easterly wind. The weather has been fine at most places south of Lyttelton but cloudy from thence northward, and during the night them has been a good deal of rain at most of the stations north of Napier and New Ply-mouth.—-R.
