Up till the present time rid"information flias been gained, notwithstanding the rigi* lance of the search which is being, in a(le, T which can lead to the discovery'hf the young woman alleged to be the daughter Of an English Baronet, who had been deserted when a mere infant by her-parenls nearly twenty years ago at Kingstown. Numbers of persons remember the circumstances of an elegantly-dressed female, * infant being found oh the. doorsteps of, Mr Thomas Carey, Sussex .Parade,;also. the baptism of the infant arid Tier removal to Rathdown Union Workhouse, Louglinstown. A vigilant search - .has been,. through the old admission books arid records of the workhouse, and one was' - found referring to : the ■ pertonj whenir:the child; had ibeen deserted,!. It (i records the;;' admission .•■ofh-lr.alf-. female infant. . vwho ; : r had;) been v de-;‘ sorted in Kingstown ; but, strange to say, ; there is"'another entry whichstates.that this infant, .was taken out .of :the workhouse two days after her admission by some young woman who then resided in Green-street. It is said that this entry cannot refer to the missing heiress "of £IO,OOO a-ye?r and an snormpus amount of accumulated ‘ riSoriey. ?
