. A meeting of the above Board was held at the old County Council Chambers this morning ; present, J:R Lysagbt, D Peat, and Geb f McLean, Esqs.- I .jv . R 0 Tennent objected: to the valuation on Secs 1, 2, 3, 14, 15,12,13, 118, 119, Whenuakura, which were ’valued at £3O ah -acre. = The property, which was situated at the top of Patea Hill was valued at a much higher rate than any of the adjoining properties, i P C Gowland - corroborated Mr Tennent’s statement. ■ The valuation was sustained; - .Robert Mclntosh’s: objection was allowed, as was also one of— McDonald s. Several objectors failed- to put in an appearance. and the valuation was confirmed. o The Court then adjourned till May 3.
