cerned, mlay ff tjo'e % a«fyga&ged'x)'h reading the following telegram received from Auckland to-day: At the Police Court to-day, Mahnki and 22 followers were charged with assault on Messrs Hnrsthonse and Newsham, and also robbery, Mr Earl, instructed by Mr Sheehan defended, and the Crown prosecutor, Mr Williams, prosecuted. Mr Hnrsthonse had not concluded giving evidence at 1 o’clock when the adjournment took place.
