Since then she has met with very severe weather. During a heavy gale the bulwarks from the main to the fore ringing on the starboard side were carried away. The main rati on the port side was smashed ; the port-boat and casing of the wheel was also broken up. An oil bag was hung from the bows, and while it lasted prevented the seas from breaking.
