HOME AND FOREIGN. f REUTER—COPYRIGHT.] (Received Feb 20, 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, Feb 19, Sheridan, who is stated to have negotiated the alleged Kilmainham treaty between Mr Gladstone and Mr Parnell, by which the imprisoned Irish members obtained their liberty, has been implicated in the operations of the assassins’ committee by evidence given by informers in the trial of the Phoenix Park murder case, (Received Feb 20, 2.5 p.m.) At the Dublin Police Court to-day the prisoners, who are under arrest on charges of assassinating Lord Frederick Cavendish and Mr Burke in Phoenix Park, have been committed for trial. The Government Bill, providing for affirmations in lieu of oaths at the option of members upon taking their seats in the House was introduced in the House of Commons yesterday. (Received Feb. 20, 12-50 p.m.) PARIS, Feb. 19. M. Jules Ferry has been summoned by M. Grevy, and requested to undertake the formation of a Cabinet. M. Ferry has accepted the charge, and is now engaged in forming a Ministry. CAIRO, Feb. 18. Five Bedouins have been found guilty of the murder of Professor Palmer and Messrs Gill and Charrington, in October last, and sentenced to death. Five others will be executed as soon as they arc caught.
