ACCIDENT TO THE S.S. PENGUIN.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. The s.s. Penguin has anchored at Stony River, her machinery having broken down. The s.s. Hauraki from Waitara is on her way to render assistance. This will cause delay in the arrival of the outward ’Frisco Mail at Auckland. The Penguin has not been communicated will) yet, so the extent of her damage to machinery is not known.
