(Received Jan 15, 1-80 a m.) LONDON, Jan 18. The Duchess of Connaught gave birth to a son to-day. A plot to assassinate the chief police officer at Dublin has been discovered. Twenty persons charged with complicity in the conspiracy have been arrested. The prisoners were brought up at the Dublin Police Court to-day and remanded. Several tf them are suspected 'of being concerned in the Phcpnix Park and other murders.
