As a six-year-old he won the Railway Plate at Waitara and the Wanganui Cup Handicap, 2% miles, 7st 81b. His performance at the Wanganui Spring Meeting, winning the Handicap with 9st .41b, and immediately after, against fresh horses, winning the Railway Plate with 9st 31b, in 2min. 46sec., proves him to be, for speed, endurance, and weight-carrying, a horse that has few equal His four-year-old running at Waverley was equally good, winning the Cup, weight for age, 2 miles, and Handicap, with top weight, Sst 121b, 2 miles, against fresh horses.
