DISTRICT PRIZE FIRING.
* ■ The firing for the Government prizes was concluded on Friday morning on the Hawera Range. There were seven prizes, five of which were carried off by Patea men. The prizes were :—lst, £4; 2nd, £B ; 3rd, £2 10s ; 4th, £2; sth, £1 10s; 6th, £1; 7th, 8s 7d. Following is a list of the .prizetakers : Yol. W.
