MESSRS R. H. NOLAN & CO.'S MON THL Y RE FOR T. At the Manaia yards on the 15th instant there was a good muster of fair sorts of cattle. Bidding was up to the .average although prices were in favour of buyers. Cattle. —3 )0 hwl were yarded—We quote yearlings nt from £2 5s to £2 15s; 2-year-old heifers. £3- to £3 5s ; cows and calves, £4 12s Gd ; 2J-year-old steers, £1 2s 6d to £ 1 ICs. Horses—No demand. At the Hawera yards on the 21st instant 230 head were yarded. Bidding was very dull, excepting for steers, which sold at good ; rices. Cows and heifers are evidently not in great demand. Wc quote yearlings at from £2 5s to £2 10s ; cows in calf, £2 10s ; 18-raonth to 2-year-olcl steers, £3 13s ; 2£-year-old steers, £4 15s ; 3-year-old steers, £5 7s. Sheep- 2)0 were entered, but there was no sale for this class of stock. Horses.—The pedigree marcs and foals were sold for £l9 : hacks £5 to £7 10s.
