THE LAST OF FISHHOOK.
(per press association.) REEFTON, this day. In the race for the Inangahua Cup yesterday, the well-known race horse Fishhook fell and broke his leg and had to be shot. Osbhrno, the rider, broke his arm and received a severe shaking. The races had to be postponed owing to the rain.
