The Sultan of Turkey is suffering from an abscess, ami is at present in a very prostrate condition, Gambelta has been compelled to have one of his forefingers amputated in consequence of his recent accident. The Government have decided on granting a general gratuity to the Irish Constabulary as some recognition of their faithful services under very trying circumstances. The Prussian Chamber of Deputies have voted a sum of 1,000,000 marks towards the fund formed for the relief of sufferers by the recent inundations.
