[Reuter. —Copyright.] (Received. Dec. 15, 12-20 p.m.) LONDON, DEC. 14 Earl Derby abdressed a large public meeting at Manchester last evening. In the course of Ins speech, he referred atlengih to the Egyptian question, and repudiated the idea of an English force remaining in Egypt a moment longer than was necessary. A fresh heavy fall of snow has been experienced in the west and north of England,; and traffic isi entirely suspended in several places. The fire, at Hampton Court has now been subdued. The destruction lias been confined to the private apartments of the palace, all the public portions having been saved.
