SAD DEATH BY DROWNING.

(per press association) WELLINGTON, This day. Two children named George and William Ridyard, sons of a fireman, were drowned in Upper Hutt river yesterday evening while bathing. The younger got beyond his depth and his brother tried to save him, bnt being unable to swim both were drowned. The bodies have been recovered and an inquest will he held.
